Been yesterday to a show of Erik Truffaz, a French trumpet player quite famous in the modern jazz scene. Enjoyed it immensly. Good players – especially the drummer and Truffaz himself – good music, good vibes, very interesting though sensible usage of effects, and a good amount of musical sense of humor. It was not only groovy and fun to watch and listen, but also an educational experience for me, sound, effects and show -wise.
I believe they're performing again today, for the last time in their current tour here. Go grab a seat.
